I am a child and family therapist that specializes in play-based individual and family interventions. Play is the natural language of children. Children are often better able to
communicate and process complex ideas and emotions through play rather than speaking.

I approach therapeutic work with children and families from a neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based, trauma-informed perspective. I recognize and honor that all are doing their best to respond to the world using the resources that they possess. I utilize a variety of therapy models according to the needs of individual clients, and most heavily draw from Child-Centered Play Therapy, Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT), Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), and Person-Centered Therapy. As a play therapist, my goal is to help children and their families process their experiences, strengthen their relationships, and build resiliency in navigating life’s challenges.

When I’m not working, you will most likely find me gardening, making art, playing video games, and spending time with my wife and our pets, 3 cats and a leopard gecko.
