I'm Sandi. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience supporting and advocating for others, and I have tremendous compassion for those of you who are struggling. My life, my values, my work and my own healing journey have been informed by Feminist Theory, Empowerment Theory, and Narrative Therapy.
I work well with people who struggle to fit in or who feel like outsiders due to neurodivergence, high sensitivity, or difficult experiences. I have a special place in my practice for those of you who've experienced sexual trauma, interpersonal trauma, identity trauma, religious trauma, bullying, discrimination, or have questioned your own worth in response to cultural systems of power, control, and oppression.
My approach is warm, relational, and collaborative. I utilize aspects of Narrative Therapy, ACT, DBT, TF-CBT, IFS, and mindfulness while supporting you in challenging patterns and stories you've outgrown, clarifying your personal values, and moving in the direction of a life you experience as meaningful. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming, anti-racist, and trauma-informed.
I'm an introvert who's blessed to share my space with 2 old dogs and 1 old cat, and outside of work I enjoy reading, making art, spending time in nature and engaging in activism that aligns with my values.
