Michele Mills, LMFT
I’m a trauma-informed therapist with over 13 years of experience supporting neurodivergent adults—particularly women navigating late-diagnosed ADHD—and those recovering from relational trauma, including narcissistic abuse and limerence. My approach is warm, steady, and nonjudgmental, offering clients a grounded space to untangle patterns of self-doubt, over-functioning, and longing for unavailable connection.
Many of the clients I work with feel overwhelmed by emotional intensity, stuck in cycles of anxious attachment, or unsure how to trust themselves after years of masking or being misunderstood. Whether you're working through emotional dysregulation, complex relationship dynamics, or a desire for deeper clarity and integration, therapy can be a transformative space to reclaim your voice and values.
I’m deeply trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and also draw from schema therapy, attachment theory, parts work, the Gottman Method, and client-centered frameworks. My style is collaborative, curious, and attuned to the unique needs of each person I work with—especially those whose stories defy easy labels.
Outside the therapy room, I’m a writer, live music enthusiast, and genealogy nerd with a passion for the messy beauty of human connection.
