Elliot Marston, CSWA
(he/him)
I believe that profound healing happens when we feel authentically heard, culturally understood, and securely connected within our communities. My practice is grounded in a human-centered, strengths-based perspective that is both anti-racist and queer-informed. I offer an approach that is warm, kind, and non-judgemental, moving at your pace with curiosity and playfulness, and cultivating relational safety in order to process and support your experience.
Together, we will explore the entire ecosystem of your life. By examining systemic barriers, historical trauma, and the many intersections of your experience, we contextualize your distress rather than treating it as a personal deficit. Therapy is not about fixing you; it is about honoring your healing and exploring your narrative with compassion. I am here to serve as a collaborative guide as we address your goals for therapy. I look forward to holding space for your whole story.
As a Clinical Social Work Associate, my experience lies in existential grief, anxiety, trauma, and relational work. I integrate Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, nonviolent communication strategies, mindfulness-based, somatic techniques, and nature-based interventions to support you in gaining tools you can use when you need to.
I am happy to connect with you if you have any questions about me or my approach in order to determine if we might be a good fit. I’m open to working with both adults and youth.
Outside of work, I’m most likely outside. I find joy in spending time with loved ones, playing music and board games, climbing, and camping with my tiny dog, Zucchini.
